As for the complaints about the tail by others. Her eyes, ripped ears, and mane to some extent show a quiet and gentle nature. Meanwhile the way the tail points out suits a pony of a more loud and aggressive pony. Also the fact the hooves are trimmed which is done by stallions rather than mares.
